The Set Free Discipleship Program was established to help individuals who have been overwhelmed by life crises. These crises include drug addiction, alcoholism, homelessness, criminal behavior and a lack of discipline and purpose.
Set Free Ministries North S.D. established over 4 years ago, has seen the need to help these people rebuild their lives. They are taught how Jesus Christ can overcome anything life throws at us. We all need Christ to be not only our Savior but Lord of our life. Set Free tries to teach the discipline needed when temptation comes. This helps them make the right decision instead of the ‘easy one’.
Set Free teaches men and women in the Program how to allow the Lord to make them into the people He would have them to be. Biblical principles for living in the world are shown to these men and women so they can be examples of the Jesus that dwells within.
Disciples live in a protected environment, away from the daily temptations that wrought chaos in their lives. It is here that they develop a one-on-one relationship with the Lord that will lead them to victorious life in Him.
Phases of the Program
The Discipleship Training Program is comprised of four (4) phases that build upon each other into a comprehensive whole. All phases are residential and fully supervised. Set Free offers a 1-year Programs, Some who enter the Program will choose to remain in the Ministry as overseers & leaders. This gives these individuals a chance to give back to the Lord what has been received and to encourage others who come into the Program that life-controlling behaviors can be overcome through Jesus Christ. |
